I cant remember what gene it is exactly, but maybe ammit is bringing an old one back? I mean, it would make sense considering that the herd helper is ghost of Christmas past.

I remember ammit and a couple other people talking about the gene quite a while back.. It was around when the game was first made.

So far the only 2 Lp horses are at least het PATN1, but definitely not a large enough sample size. Anyone have one that isn't ? (You can look on the GMT lab, you don't have to add Lp.)

I am clueless. Just, black. So yeah, Major GMT work would be needed for her to say intact here. So I’m hoping we figure out whatever it is.
There are so many hidden factors that we don’t even know about, and I’ve only been playing for two years, so have no clue about game history.

My best guess so far is heterozygous Kit Promoter.

Has anyone googled the quote yet to see if there’s surrounding information that might help? That’s my next step, once I crawl out of bed.

@Haltanny - my girl is het PATN1 as well. Haven't added appy to her yet but that's on the GMT list if I end up keeping her. I'm wondering about het snowflake in these guys maybe?

If I remember correctly, shortly after I started playing there was a special something that we only figured out after we started breeding them.
Mine’s not old enough, any volunteers with studs to try a variety of mares once breeding opens?

My bf says they might be "copies" of the first horses we created on here. Could that be it?

@BellaVoce, all chestnuts with DP and hom sooty will be liver. Yours would need hom DP to be a black liver, and she has zero DP. She's much too light.
