    2 copies of the snowflake gene, It can only be added to foundations though :)

    One copy of Appaloosa, and two copies of snowflake for it to be expressed.

    It's a recessive gene, so if you have one copy of the gene you won't be able to register your horse in the club, and it won't be considered a snowflake horse :)

    IF both his parents had snowflake, you could have added it in the GMT lab now, but it does not look like they have it, and you can not add a gene to a lined horse that they could not get from their parents.
