My first *star horse I bred!
-
I realized now that he is really uneven, I mixed up the pedigrees of my mares (i have multiple tabs open while breeding so I can match up pedigrees and generations) when I was looking through them because I am a little rushed, but oh whale! He came out *star and passed all testing!
Ive been having a rough season this year, with nearly all of my foals being spayed or gelded, worse than any season Ive ever had before, but then this happens! Not to mention it's my birthday, how nice! :)

Congrats! It's always nice to have happy little accidents :)
Looking quickly through his pedigree I wouldn't really consider him terribly uneven, his lines go so far back that it's not really that much of a problem. I tend to start lumping breeding quality to breeding quality after g5 and it usually spits out pretty decent horses.#4519 -
Congratulations!
I agree with Bourbon, once the pedigree is at 5 or 6, I pay less attention to unevenness. Actually, at any generation unevenness is not an issue as long as you breed like levels to each other - i.e. red to B, blue to A etc.. -
Congratulations!De gustibus non disputandum. "There's no arguing about tastes."

Congrats! That's so exciting! And Happy Birthday.

I couldn't care less about even/uneven pedigrees. I generally breed by quality, except in breeding show ponies. I'm crossing my fingers I may get a star or gold foal this season, now that I have a few blue mares of age. It's exciting knowing your lines are improving. :)#28036
