Now, before Confluence Farms trounces me, I did not touch pastures till 8 this morning. haha.
Try to keep appy out of my main line, but I kept one appy mare because I was thrilled about the fact that I could get a gold filly out of a foundation mare breeding to my star studs. Well guess what, that mare threw the best of pasture colt this year... and he is a leopard appy. XD

Absolutely love this filly, she is a very strong representation of what I am going for, Black based dun, high PT, high quality. Hopefully she will help me push those even higher. Too bad she is full sibling to my best stud. Guess their mother is a keeper. haha

Tgis was the best in my 3g pasture.. i thought he missed tge kp as i couldn't see until i went to register him and seen he qualified. So rerolled his image twice and got that little kp patch.. lol
Then i comp tested him against my gen 4 benchmark who would have to be at least a mid range A and this boy tested superior!!

I have only done a little bit of breeding so far but I am extremely happy with the results so far. As of right now I have three 2G A/Blues, a 3G A boy from Treasured Milestone, and a surprise brindle!

Out of 178 I ended up with 34 replacements who passed all testing that I kept this year. Not too shabby. I did auction probably a pasture lot of around 40 intact foals that didn't meet my gene needs or my eyes. Nothing too fancy, but a solid group.
