I have no idea what happened, yesterday my account said it was a Premium account like I upgraded to almost right when I started playing again, and today I logged in and it says I have a free account, and I no longer have my Premium upgrade and it says I need to resubscribe? I did get a new card about a month ago but updated my paypal and all my payment methods. Do I need to resubscribe? Why did I suddenly lose my upgrade?

You lose your upgrade when there was no payment sent in to paypal. Log into your paypal account and check on your subscription there.

You probably need to cancel your old subscription and make a new one as the old sub was on the old card. Make sure you cancel the old one to be safe though.

I was able to purchase a new barn and hbs with the new card and already canceled the old card? I will double check though, it was just a mini panic this morning of not understanding what happened.

Paypal can have lots of cards hooked into it. Adding a card on paypal won't make a subscription suddenly start charging to the new card. It would be like if every time you got a new debit card all your bill payments changed cards on you to the new one and you no choice in what card the payments came from. :)

I wish my bills automatically changed! I got a new card because the other expired, same card number and pin, but I had to go through and update every single thing by hand. Lol

Imagine you got a new card with a low limit just for emergencies, and all your bills transferred over to it and it ran it up and you ended up with massive fines and missed payments.

if we cancel because of a card change and go back to a premium account will we lose our straws and eggs?

@wendolyne your straws, eggs and embryos will all stay safe in the freezer. You just lose access to them til you upgrade again.

My card is a debit card linked to my bank account, it doesn't go through if there are not enough funds to cover it. I don't do credit cards. :)
