For sure I would not sell your show horses and your top point earners in your barn. They help your income the most!

Where you only have 35 stalls you need to be getting max potential out of your horses you keep around.

So keep spays and geldings with high points and/or high PT scores. Keep them around their whole life.

Limit yourself to just one or two Stallions right now. As your barn expands you can add more stallions.

Try to keep mares who also have PT scores that will double as good breeders and good showers.

One horse I would auction and replace:

Geld two of your stallions and keep them around as show horses.

With 35 stalls I would suggest a ratio of 20 gelded And Spayed show horses, 2 Stallions and that would leave you 13 mares. Try to watch the sales boards and auctions for youngish horses with a decent amounts of points and add them to your showing herd.
