I am taking gene combo requests for examples, and will be posting my own example horses below. :D

I bred the shades of pale stud to all of the above example mares. I made a point not to reroll or edit the foals in any way. I wanted to point out that sometimes watercolor can be very subtle. All these foals are watercolor, plaid or both, but some of the watercolor is hardly noticeable if you roll red and orange shades. A reroll would light them up. This is much more true on ee horses. E- seldom look "normalish"

Made examples. I don't personally recommend red-based colors that much for watercolor. Black based is much better because you need the pigment variation. There simply is no difference between het and hom dp liver with watercolor. Plaid on liver is fantastic though.

This is a sty plus brown. So you are seeing more magenta then you would with a normal sty brown.

You are very unlikely to get magenta and purple off the bat, but with enough re-rolling you could absolutely get them.

Hello game Goddess!
So since I was planning on creating a DP silver bay line this month but haven’t actually done it yet, how do watercolor and watercolor/plaid look on dark (Hom Sooty) silver bay? Is there a significant difference with DP dark silver bay? I have some of the mares stashed already but could easily shunt them into this project instead.
I’m guessing the color contrast won’t be as significant with silver, but would like to see an example nevertheless before I start spending GMTs! Thank you!Thanked by 1StarfireAcres -
Three dark silver bays. 1 with no dp, 1 het dp and 1 hom dp. I made a point not to mark them so you can see that spending money on DP with these genes is probably a waste of money with the exception of plaid only on a red base. DP is hard enough to spot at the best of times. With all this going on? No way will you catch it.
