    He was my most favorite stud as a 3rd gen stud. I love his offspring. I hope I have straws of his I don't remember if I pulled any. I lost a total of 23 horses last night.

    Another one I lost was a mare named CR Silver Silence. Sandy gave me her and she did wonderful both as a broodmares and as a show horse.

    Oh no! I kicked myself when I neglected to pull straws from his brother before he passed. SO sad seeing all these Dark Pearl sons pass on. The end of n age.

    I do have straws for his grandsire, and I have tossed out a few Dark Sun Rising sons in recent months. Not sure where they are now.

    I have a boy from one of Dark Star's straws. Not A like I had hoped, but AGA A. He is up for sale right now because he never fit in to my breeding program. I'll have to look out for the other Dark son rising sons though. I very much cherish the Dark Pearl blood in my herd, and am sad that several of my favorite Penfold's Pearl fillies are 17 now.
    All into high quality black based primitive duns and bootstraps.
