How do I remove a gene? Solved

    I'm trying to take the frame off this baby how do I do that?

    @OakCreek13, go to Advanced Facilities tab, open the Gene Mod Treatment.

    From there, you select the foal in the drop down box where it says "Select Horse"

    Scroll down to "Frame" and click on the "Olw" allele and check "O". It will confirm that you want to make this transaction that costs 1 GMT.

    I hope that helps. :)

    It's telling me he has O Allele for this frame gene? But it still shows up as Olw

    One side should say O and the other Olw :)

    Do you need 1 gmt token per side of the gene to remove it?
    Ie to remove splash (SpS Sp). Do I need 1 token to remove SpS and another token for the Sp?

    Just one should do the trick

    For lined horses it's one token per change (and two for sex change).

    So, for instance, if your horse was

    SpS Sp

    And you wanted to take off its splash (and its dad wasn't homozygous for splash) you would change SpS to Sp for one token.

    But if your horse was

    SpS Sp

    And both parent carried Sp3 and you wanted to make your foal homozygous for Sp3, that would cost one token for each change, or two tokens total.

    Does that make sense?
