What is best in pasture based on? Is it strictly breeding ability or does it also factor in showing ability?

I'm really pretty sure it's breeding ability only. Although I hope someone else will confirm that too.

Based on previous experience but not hard research, I think it's strictly based off of breeding ability.

I also think it's breeding ability only, because some of my BIP are very crappy show horses. Lol

And it's definitely not just consistency based either as I have had plenty of BOP foals test inconsistent and even be spayed due to inconsistency.

How do you know who your BIP is?

You get an email after breeding pastures, Chilli. If you aren't getting an email it may be getting bounced by your email provider. There has been an issue with some getting bounced. I receive mine on my Gmail account.
