    It's only foals. That way the mares can stay in all season and rack up the pasture bonus

    It just reduces the chance that she will throw babies at the bottom of her range. The sire can still throw numbers from the bottom of the page. I'm sure someone will come along and explain better.

    Yes, you can. That will increase their pasture bonus. It will increase every day up to 30 days.
