Breed prestige?

Hi. I didn't want to post on Ammits post and have comments take over.
What is bread prestige?
Are there rewards for it?
Is it something just to brag about?
Who else is working on a breed to have breed prestige?

Prestige points are for bragging rights, I believe. No tangible rewards.
I'm actively pursing prestige for my Doubleskunk breed.Folly's Fantasies #43484 (she/her): Horses, straws, and eggs from my Doubleskunk tribute herd are always free. -
How does one pursue prestige for their breed?
Is it just best breeding and best showing? -

I'm still missing it, how do horse breeds get prestige points? And how are they decided if they are nationally, regionally, or locally? -

Not everyone enjoys the competitive nature of fighting for the LB. Breed prestige is a way you can work on ranking up your breeding and creating goals for your program in a way that does not come with competition.
