Adopt a Newbie - sign up for new players and mentors

Hello! If you are new to the game, welcome to this awesome community! I have noticed a lot of activity from new players recently. Those of us who’ve been around here long enough to have a good grasp of how everything works are very happy to help out with show ponies, nice starter brood stock, and most importantly, tips and advice! We’ve already made all the mistakes and you can benefit from our blunders!
Established players, if you are interested in adopting a newbie (or two or three) please drop a comment.
If you are a new account, or if you are just now starting to get real active in the game and would like help sorting everything out and a leg up, please leave a comment and one of our established players will adopt you and show you the ropes. There are many ways to enjoy this game - establishing your own lines, competing in era and color clubs, stallion futurities… Tell us your interests and goals for your stable if you already have ideas, and if you don’t know yet we can help you find direction.
Full Disclosure I totally copy and pasted the above from one of the "Adopt a Newbies" from last year. I also noticed we hadn't had one in a while in about a year if I counted correctly. With the new Era starting in June now might be a good time to plan for that.| #59142 | Spotted | Reiner | Chocolatey | Enchanting | Stygien | Lunara | -
I'm still newer but would be happy to help a newbie! If your goal is color boards I'm probably not the best to help with that.Thanked by 1Cottonwoods

I'm a newbie and I would absolutely love to be adopted by an established player. I'm currently trying to work my way into the color boards for the fantasy colors (specifically the rainbow riots and phantom, my faves). I've started establishing my lines (described in my signature) but my Deltani line is the first one that I'm starting from foundation creates, so any tips on lines that have been started through creates would be super helpful! I'm not really interested in eras, although as I get established, I would definitely like to explore stallion futurities.Hi! I go by Delta! They/Them pronouns.
Deltarian: Mixed bag- Open/Closed Genes, Non-Fantasy/Fantasy Genes.
Deltani Saddle Seat Horses! Deltani horses are DDW white-spotted beauties that express full white.
Delmari: Black based (E/E a/a or E/e a/a) with any number of genes that can add white or other color shifts.Thanked by 1Cottonwoods -
I don't expect to have time to be a mentor over the next bit unfortunately, but I'm happy to open my barns to the mentees! If I have any horses, straws, eggs etc. you could use just send me a message. :)
I would say I'm best known for my minis, but also have a great line of backwards horses, all of the Eras, and a kitchen sink fantasy line. Most of my futurity studs are winning GMT awards, so they're a great opportunity to start winning GMTs if that's something you're into - There's a thread with all of them under Breeding Ads.
Also with RAoG coming up, I just want to encourage newbies to use their wishlists to their fullest! And don't be afraid to be specific, or ask for help writing them.

I make stable headers: here.
Mimicry: minis and ponies, open and closed, eras | Evergreen: All the ices | Phantasia: fantasy kitchen sink
