can't un-neuter mare

i neutered this mare by mistake. When trying to fix this, it told me i can't change the genetics of a horse that already has offspring. THis isn't genetics.

it seems odd that i can neuter it but not undo what i did.

It is set up that way because members in the game were adamant that they did not want others to have the ability to unalter stock they sold with the intention of it being an altered horse.
