I'm looking for a stud to breed my mare to. I'm new to the game so I'm still figuring out genes, but I would ideally like the foal to be very similar.

The nanotech horses have white 2, which can potentially be lethal when crossed with certain other genes and result in a dead foal. If you haven't read the announcement about lethal Kit mutations yet, you should take a look. The color chart is helpful, but there's a much more in depth chart you can look at if you click the google docs link that's below the colored box chart.

This is a search of stallions up for public breeding from the same Rank Special as your mare. You might get a different combination of patterns but all will be black or Grullo or black pearl or Grullo Pearl with Appaloosa.

Because of the Kit Lethality issues I would stick to stallions with white factor or Minimal or None. Your mare is minimal so hopefully you would get a live foal.

One thing to mention, is that your mare is also a brindle. Brindle is not a gene, nor does it produce itsself very often. It is an anomaly mostly and happens by accident. So your foal you get may not get brindle, as it is one of the rarest things to get when breeding. New people always seem to chase the brindle, but it takes lots and lots of breedings to get even 1 in your mass of foals, and then you will be lucky to have it stay intact. I just wanted to mention this, in case you think the filly will have the stripping like the mare, it will more likely not.

If you have a basic upgrade or a premium upgrade I can send you an at cost straw from this one of my Nanotech studs. I don't put him up for public breeding, just straws, since I want to save his 50 live covers for the season for my pasture breeding.
