Should I buy horses for default sale?

    Hi there! I'm returning to this game after a year and I'm looking to add some roan and splash white to my herd, the only problem is that a lot of the horses I'd like to buy are listed at the default sale price of 2500 HB. Is there any sort of rule of thumb here prohibiting people from buying these horses out of good faith since they are listed automatically, or am I totally ok to buy them?

    If a horse is up for sale then they are available for anyone to buy :) I'm not sure what you mean by default sale. A horses is not for sale unless someone wants them to be, unless they put them up by accident.

    Oh ok! I assumed it was by default since when I just bred some foals of my own, they were all immediately put up for sale until I manually changed the price to 0.

    Horses are never automatically put up for sale. A suggested price being in the box does not mean your horse is for sale.
