@ZenCorgi and I have been working to put together a no-maxing, no-boosting “amateur” competition via the forums, and we’re ready to ask for sponsorships for prizes!

First, let's give you all a run down :)

The Rules:
Horses and their parents must not be maxed or boosted.
All entries must have been bred or created by their exhibitor.
Competitors can only win up to 2 awards per category.
**LB restriction update:**
Must have less than 15 top 10 LB placements in the last 12 months.
Must have no top 3 stallions or mares in the last 24 months.
Futurity competitors are allowed.
Backwards breeding competitors are allowed.

Categories include:
Drafts and Cobs:
Highest PT Era 0 through Era 12
Highest PT Era 14 through 15

Highest points earned Era 0 through 12
Highest points earned Era 14 through 15


Warmbloods and Sport Ponies:
Highest PT Era 0 through Era 12
Highest PT Era 14 through 15

Highest points earned Era 0 through 12
Highest points earned Era 14 through 15


Riding Horses and Riding Ponies:
Highest PT Era 0 through Era 12
Highest PT Era 14 through 15

Highest points earned Era 0 through 12
Highest points earned Era 14 through 15


Best In Show - Winners Circle
Determined by popular vote of the Champions and Reserve Champions in each category. (One winner across all categories)


Best In Show - All Inclusive
Determined by popular vote of all horses in each category. (One winner across all entries)


One To Watch
Highest points earned by a player who has played less than 6 months.

Sponsorships:
We are hoping to award prizes for the Top 5 in each of the bone weight categories, and to the Champion in the additional categories. The easiest way to do this, from our perspective, would be to ask players to sponsor a category for a set number of months.
For instance:
You could sponsor prizes for the One To Watch through September and October.
Or the Top 5 PT for Drafts / Cobs to the end of the year.
Etc.
Zen and I are working on ideas to fill whichever categories don't get sponsored. Alternatively, there are 2 additional prize spots we can add if we get extra sponsors :)

Examples of prizes can include:
HBs
Straws or embryos
Pointed show ponies
Quality breeding stock
GMTs or GMT work to a horse of the winner’s choice
Futurity qualified studs
And I'm sure there's lots of other things we haven't thought of!
