Absolutely recommend joining - I got into the discord group back when it started, and even though life has been far too chaotic for me to participate in futurity breeding, I'm still happily lurking for the community. It's a nice, flexible place to discuss ideas/strategies, share success, and get to know each other a little better!
It's generally very chill, everyone's friendly, and if you need help with something, you'll probably get 3-5 offers of assistance within a couple hours.

I agreed with everyone above- Ive been on H&J for some time, but initially stayed mostly to myself and tried to figure it out on my own. After joining The Breeding Circle, it really expanded my experience and understanding of the game. The community is SO supportive and helpful - it's truly been a game changer and everyone is so nice and friendly <3 11/10 definitely recommend!!

The breeding circle discord is fantastic! It makes the game feel more like a community and less like isolated barns. It also feels less formal than the forums (to me anyway), so if you are shy, the discord is great!

I've been in the breeding circle for a while. Just like there's no right way to play the game, there's no one type of stallion you'll find offered for breeding. Want fantasy genes? We got stacked, hom for just one thing, and everything in between. Want a stallion guaranteed to produce a color? We've got hom cream, dun, mushroom, belton, appaloosa, tobiano, roan, and more. Every body type and size. Most eras (aside from maybe 0 and 1) have stallions of every paper level offered, so if you don't want all show foals you can breed for intact foals as well. Stallions that are a descendant of a futurity stud often become the next once he ages out! It's fun to see the name of now-archived stallions as (sired by) after a young stud's name.

I've gotten great ideas for future projects from seeing what others are producing. We've got a section just for babies to show off our favorites, so I even get to see what the dam had as well.

Everyone is so friendly. Sometimes conversation goes quickly but discord has a handy reply option, so if you come in late you can reply to someone's comment from hours before and it stays organized and the discussion might start up again from that point.

The Breeding Circle discord is a fun and welcome space. It has really help me connect with fellow players about the game and even about things outside the game. What began as a space to work of filling the futurity boards has turned into a helpful community of players who are always willing to answer a question, offer advice, or just let you vent :D

The chat also provides access to a huge variety of stallions at prices even a new player can afford. It's a great way to expand your herd while helping out other members and being helped in return. :x
