Hey guys if anyone is interested I would really love and appreciate to get this guy qualified before he gets any older. He's a 3rd Gen Era 8. I just really really like him for some reason and he would be my first stud to get qualified.

When You breed to a futurity stud the foal has to be the same era as the stud. You have to use mares that are either the same era as the stallion or the mares have to be a higher era. The resulting foal will always take after the lower era-ed parent if that makes any sense.
And anybody that knows more then me please jump in here and correct me if I'm wrong or has something to add lol.

I’m quoting something @HighStormFarm said in another post.
“A stallion's standing in the futurity is based on the number of points earned by his top 10 foals. A foals papering doesn't matter, only the points they earn through showing.”
And yes if you own one or more of the top 10 foals of a top qualified stallion you can earn GMT tokens at the end of every game year or “month”.
