Can someone pls help a not the most tech savvy person understand how to add a picture into a post?

    I would like to show off my art, and if possible, offer to do art (banner or prof pics) for hbs or something? (if its not against the rules ofc)
    But im unsure how to add them to posts?

    I dont have the images I drew posted to any site really, so is there a way to add it to a post straight from my gallery? (I draw on a tablet if it helps?)

    The only way i think its letting me add pictures is if i have a url? And im assuming i have to post said image to a site somewhere to get that?
    Struggling artist, just having fun making cute horses.

    You will need to upload your image to a hosting site then you will be able to share in here. When making a post if you click the little tab with image it will provide the coding into which you put your picture URL, the URL will end with something like png, jpeg, etc...

    Is twitter/ X something that would work as a hosting site? Would google drive work? Or maybe a stash account?

    Imgur is usually what I use, but generally anything that gives the picture a permanent URL will work. When you click on an image select "open image in new tab" there will be a URL in the address bar, copy that, if you can open a different window and paste that address in the new tab and the image comes up by itself without redirecting to the whole site or anything like that, then it'll most likely work.

    (And to tell if it worked or not, that's what the preview button in the forum is for!)
