I put him in the buddy sale drop down. And set the price. But nothing popped up in the chat log about him. Perhaps I need to wait a min?

Ok...do I need the basic upgrade? I pick him from the drop down menu. It doesn't give me an option to enter an ID number.

Maybe it's my free account that's the problem.

You don't use the drop down, that is for putting a horse up for breeding. Below that section is the Selling Rules section. There are two text boxes, you enter his id number in the first box and the price in the second.

I'll have to see if I can figure it out later today.

I see the section for breeding and for selling. I've tried both just to see if it would do anything, nope. Both breeding and selling boxes only allow me to choose one of my horses from a drop down menu.

I even tried to put a cull foal for sale in another forum and it wouldn't work.

You are correct. It shows in the screenshot where it says "basic upgrade required". :)

Additionally, I believe if you have few enough horses you will see a drop down for selling as well, rather than an ID option.

@Duven, put a horse up for public sale for 375,000 hbs and post a link here. That will be enough for the 30 IVs for a basic upgrade, I'll buy it from you as a welcome to the game :D
