    I'm trying to make gene edits to this horse. His sire has SWM on strand 2, but it won't let me add it; inheritance chance is 50/50. First I thought "ok so I can't add genes from strand 2" but it WILL allow me to add S+, which is *also* only on strand 2. I'm confused.

    But it looked; is like the gene you want is on strand one, and sooty plus is on strand two.

    Ah. You are correct, it is on strand one. I just tried again, it will absolutely not let me add SWM for some reason.
    It's not even an option, it just offers me SW1.

    That’s interesting, if it offers SW1 you should be clicking on the right one. Maybe Ammit will be able to figure out what we missed when she wakes up :D

    Sire is SW1/SWM. Son is Splash: -/-. The game doesn't understand how to get from - to SWM. You will need to add SW1 first and then you should be able to add SWM. It can sometimes take two gmts with chimeric horses if you inherited the wrong set of DNA.
