At what stall amounts does the IV premium go up?
-
Just planning if I want to buy another 210 stall or another 1000 stall next.

I don’t know the exact number, but I think long term you’ll save more by stocking up on the 1000s first and filling in with smaller ones afterwards, assuming same total number of barns in the end. Happy to have someone else math-check me on that though.ID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines! If you have the patients to save for the 1000 it will always be a better investment before the % starts. That said I have multiple accounts that live on 210s cause they are easy. The % kicks in somewhere around 1400 stalls I think based on this being my smallest account that pays one.
15 Stalls - 6 IVs
You have 1710 non primary barn stalls
You pay an extra 26% on stalls.45120 -
After the first 1000 non-primary stalls purchased with IVs you start to pay wealth tax on barns.Need to contact me? Read this first. Only send me a PM for PayPal issues or if I ask you to. Otherwise, make a forum post. You will get a better faster answer by making a post.

Ah, good to know! So then optimal strategy would probably be to save for that 1000 stall, but only get it after you’re sitting at like 990 stalls from smaller barnsID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines! I already have a 1000 stall and a few 210s, and am paying an extra 43% now I believe. I'm curious if that premium goes up again at another benchmark? And what those benchmarks and %s are. I didn't even know a wealth tax existed until it kicked in at 43%. So trying to plan around it better moving forward.
Does it go up every 1000 stalls, basically? By what amount?

I believe it's not a benchmark so much as it's just based on the total number of stalls owned.ID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines! I'm always selling straws and eggs from anything I have that catches your eye, don't hesitate to PM me and ask!

That's what I meant by benchmark :P
Like, is it calculated as a % per every 1000 stalls?
Does it go up at 1000 stalls by 20%, then 2000 stalls by 20%, then 2500 stalls by 25% or by some other "random" calculation?
What are those stall amounts / benchmarks, and what is the tax charged at each new bracket?

Just tested it and it definitely goes up more often than every 1000 stalls purchased. Is this in the wiki somewhere?
It would be helpful for newer members. For instance, I caught a windfall by buying someone a barn in exchange for hbs when I first started, but my daily income to replenish myself is still rather low.
Does selling barns reduce your premium? I'd be happy to sell my smaller barns I purchased before knowing about the premium in exchange for being able to buy a 1000 stall at a lower cost.

You have 7370 non primary barn stalls
You pay an extra 234% on stalls.
Me currently. I have five 1000 barns, and an assortment of 210s and so on.
If that tells ya'll anything, just providing info. Me and math are not friends. :)) -
Selling barns does in fact bring it down :)ID 45703 | he/himOpen barn policy - no closed lines! I'm always selling straws and eggs from anything I have that catches your eye, don't hesitate to PM me and ask!

@Lallyhop, Excellent! Thank you!
@Ammit Still curious if the premiums are outlined in the wiki or somewhere else? I just haven't been able to find any info on them.

If you get over 10,000 non primary barn stalls, you will no longer be able to buy barns with hbs at all.Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses. Liver chestnut, DP mushroom, and rose gray riding horses. Dun cobs with all the patterns. Watercolor, Wrong Warp and ice on mixed body types.

Hm. Okay, I'm assuming it's not outlined anywhere that I could then add it to the wiki? It's just hard to plan when you don't know what it's based on. As a player it's just a (expensive) guessing game right now.

I just realized the confusion, I meant, "It's not outlined anywhere (privately or publicly) that could be copied to the wiki for player reference?" But yeah, I guess the amounts aren't recorded anywhere anymore from when they were put in place in the game.
Maybe if I start a second account one day I'll actually record the %s and amounts and add them in order.
