I've been on QUITE a freezer cleanout binge, and I found quite a few mares who are, well, good, but nothing spectacular. Finding no use for them in either of my lines, I instead decided to turn them into a fun little game for us to play, and it's a win-win: I clean out some embryos, you get free bootstrap foals!

So what's the catch?

I paired a bunch of red and yellow papered eggs to, drumroll please.... Starmap!

So here's the gamble: you get a bootstrap foal, but it might be any paper level, there's no telling! =))

The genes at stake, beside Starmap's, mostly involve DP, snowflake, KP, and a handful of other things. For example, one of the mares involved in my shenanigans is this cutie, carrying KP and KP2.

There's over 100 embryos with more than 15 different mares, though, so come and test your luck!

How to enter? Just tell me your ID and recommend me a favorite food or drink of yours, and I'll send you three embryos to gamble on :D

My favorite drink currently is eggnog, hot water and tiramisu baileys! My food recommendations are things I enjoy and no one believes me is good:
1. Peanut butter and cheddar or mozza cheese.
2. Grilled cheese with havarti and cinnamon honey! (This one you can also dip in caesar dressing if you want some extra creaminess.)

Edit: Realized that as a Canadian, I also need to recommend making /trying a Caesar cocktail.

I'm a sausage pepper gravy with roasted pepper Brussel sprouts
Drink wise,
Tea: Black berry and lemon with honey
Coffee: dark roast, pecan creamer, with cinnamon and nutmeg with a dash of sugar

I love coffee and several teas! I also really like home made hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks :)

My favorite drink is coffee with caramel creamer caramel sauce on the cup walls and whipped cream. I’m a bit obsessed with coffee. I definitely should drink more water that’s not boiled with brown beans lol
Food wise my best friend makes the most amazing home made cheesecake that she has yet to share the recipe but I’ll get it eventually lol but cheesecake is by far my favorite dessert and carne Asada street tacos are my favorite food to eat, like I could eat them every day lol

@SolandisStables A friend of mine is Thai and makes the BEST peanut sauce chicken from a family recipe, I’m sure that’s similar to what you’re talking about! Peanut and chicken goes so well together. Sent!

39558 I have a hard time with solid foods a lot now, but I love food. My husband makes me the most amazing coconut lemongrass curry broth. It's like a warm hug.

Solid food that I love (rare treats!), French dip sandwiches (everything made from scratch by my amazing hubby ), homemade sourdough bread with homemade butter and cinnamon and sugar, dragon roll sushi ( it's eel, I love eel), and buttermilk fried chicken thighs.

Drinks: cherry coke, Dr pepper, coffee with oat milk, and lemon water. And of course all the really yummy broths my hubby makes. He's pretty amazing with some better than bullion! LOL

The favorite food in my house is crockpot bourbon chicken. We do ours up with actual bourbon, but you can also use chicken broth if you don't like alcohol.

Since it is christmas eve, which is the day we do all the celebrations here in Norway, I will suggest you try what we always have for dinner on this day - Pinnekjøtt. It is a norwegian dish, and the name means Stickmeat. The meat is salted and dried lamb ribs, which are then put in water over night, and steamed for 3-5 hours. Traditionally they are steamed over birch sticks, hence the name. Served with potatoes and mashed kohlrabi, although we have started using mashed sweet potatoes instead. Often also accompanied by Vossakorv (a norwegian tradional sausage) or medisterkaker (norwegian traditional pork meatballs).

I know it all sounds extremely norwegian, and yes it is. It is my all time favourite meal, but we only eat it once or twice a year.

@BoredCowgirl I hope you come back and read this, because if you like Constant Comment you need to try Market Spice Cinnamon Orange. It's heaven in a cup, just ask @MamaMiaStables! You could certainly still add your condensed milk, but it doesn't need sugar at all. Market Spice is based in Seattle, so win for supporting a small-ish local business, and they ship! I order all of my spices and most of my teas from them (and I have a LOT of tea blends).

My favorite food is Pho, hands down. No matter how many times you visit your favorite restaurant to enjoy it, it's a different bowl every time - you can add basil, bean sprouts, lime wedges, chili paste, jalapeno slices, hoisin sauce, soy sauce ... We always get gyoza when we dine in, and they serve a delicious fish sauce for dipping and I always dump it into my soup when the gyoza are gone. If we get the egg rolls, I prefer to dip them in my soup rather than the fish sauce. I've heard some people even pour in their tea! The options are endless.

@whywishesarehorses @lallyhop It looks like chicha morada is easy to make too, there are several recipes online. Mostly, it involves lots of time - simmer for an hour and then chill. Might have to try that, with access to foods from around the world via the internet (yay technology!) the purple corn should be readily available.

Favourite food? Oml so many dishes lmao

Either curried chicken with rice noodles, lemon pepper chicken, garlic prawns with pasta or curried sausages..all of those dishes are made by my boyfriend and they're absolutely amazing.

Favourite drink is either creaming soda, homemade punch (orange, cranberry, lemon and pineapple juice) or a jack daniels and coke with a nice dinner :)

I love making my own juice flavored drinks at home, I have a sodastream and those monin flavor syrups so it’s a really good soda replacement, and I can make it whatever flavors I want. I usually mix half juice with half bubbly water and add a little splash of something, like mango syrup in orange juice or pina colada syrup in pineapple juice or anything else that strikes my fancy :D Sent!

I read through all these, they all sound great!!
We usually don't do shit for Xmas, I'm glad its over.
Usually the weekend before New Years we fire up the big smoker and smoke 2 pork butts and a big turkey. I also make cilantro lime coleslaw for the pulled pork sandwiches and make cranberry salsa for the turkey. If I get crazy I might make smoked mac and cheese also. This is all kind of a pain to do and an all day thing lol.
And I pretty much only drink water :)

I'm going to a party on Saturday and bringing my favorite cookies: Italian ricotta cookies! They are like little sugar pillows. Traditionally made with anise flavor, but good with just about any - I've tried coconut, orange, and almond to great effect! Yumyumyum
