    Thanks everyone for the condolences and support, offers to chat, etc. I have so much going on right now that I feel like I haven't totally processed yet. I don't think it's fully sunk in. It just feels so numb.

    I talked to her breeder today and learned that her Mom died at the same age (21), and in the same way. Which is slightly comforting for some reason.     My gifter gave me a memorial horse that looks just like her too:
