All horses will be homozygous recessive (aa) for the bay gene. They may have red or black base colors, but will not be bay or brown. Possible colors include chestnut, black, red dun, grullo, palomino, smokey black etc. Horses might be patterned or solid.

Rank 1: Heterozygous Roan

All horses will be at least heterozygous(Kit^rKit) for the roan gene, but might also be homozygous (Kit^rKit^r). Possible colors include blue roan, bay roan, red roan etc. Horses might also have other patterns.
