Auction bidding question
-
I would lovee to know why some people bid again and again on the same horse when no one is outbidding them! What is the value in jacking up the price they have to pay?
-
There’s no feature for increasing price automatically like eBay, so it’s an easier way to move the price up past what another player will bid. For me the difference between 100k and 300k is pennies so I’ll throw a few down in case I forget to check back. :)
auctions used to run twice a week so we’re easier to remember. I don’t remember the last time I check auctions now that they’re random.Thanked by 1OldCat -
Also, this may be a case of using the "backspace" button. Use it at your own peril on the site, as sometimes it can "double up" on the action you have just done.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
Prices are almost always negotiable.

Sometimes I will bid a horse way up if they are something I feel is valuable, especially if they are coming from a new player! 400k to me is almost nothing for the perfect Rank Special, but that might be huge income for them.
