I went looking at the fantasy gene licenses because one of my new foals I just bought has the "fantasy restrictions" in red under the era info. But when I tried to find Ice -/5 or axiom /x I didn't see either. I saw axion red blue and green but I don't know which one I need, and also saw a bunch of ice ones but not 5?

That’s because Nexus (X) and Ice 5 no not require licenses. Since he is a stallion, you would not have been able to purchase him if you needed licenses. Orange genes are restricted so they can’t be sold on public sales (only auctions and in chats), but there’s no license for them. :) You are all set!

In my experience, Ice 5, Ice 8, Ice, Axiom (nexus), and chocolate don't require licenses. :)

There's a restriction on how the horse can be sold. This is to stop horses with those genes going for massive amounts of money on the public sales when they're a dime a dozen

@ObsidianKitsune Out of curiosity, isn't that just the same restriction as any orange gene though? But orange genes don't show any kind of "restriction" on the horse's page. Are there more restrictions placed on orange fantasy than orange non-fantasy? Clubs they can enter, would be one, right? Are there any others?

All fantasy genes, orange or not, have restrictions on what clubs they can enter. This horse is fantasy, therefore can’t enter non fantasy color clubs.

@VenemousGiant, I understand that. I'm asking if there are any restrictions on fantasy genes beyond club entries and sales, that I haven't encountered yet.

Fantasy genes only have restrictions on what clubs they can enter. Sales are not limited based on being fantasy or not.

Orange: Sales restrictions
Orange and fantasy (combined): Club and sales restrictions
