Era 3 RS
-
So my new rank special horse is era 3 and all my other horses are era 4. I don't have the room to start a new herd of era 3 horses, but I really like my nanotech stallion. Help?#28036Thanked by 1supersarah

Any Exceptional horse is always the Era behind. It was done to keep the Era's more balanced I believe, though I can't really remember exactly why. But all Exceptionals, Rank Specials will be 1 Era behind, it is normal.

I know that, but I don't have room for a whole other herd of era 3 horses. If I cross them, the foals will be era 3.#28036

Yep, but there is nothing that can be changed. Era's change too, and eventually it will be Era 5. Era's just put your horse into a different section of showing, to spread out the show horses, otherwise it does nothing to the horse.

The foals will be the lower era, if I remember correctly. Do you know that most people aren't concerned with eras? A few are, but it's nothing like the obsession with generations. Double check the info on eras here: http://hj2.huntandjump.com/forum/discussion/8582/all-about-eras

That explains a lot. I didn't know the exceptional foundations were one era behind but that makes sense. I was wondering why last year's diamond age horses were Era 4 but the new version this year is Era 3 even though it's one year later. Thanks!
And yes, it doesn't matter what era your horse is. The breeders clubs for the older eras are more competitive, but you can always remove your horse from an era breeders club and enter it in up to 4 different color clubs instead if you'd rather.
