I was planning on making a stallion but when I saw it was exceptionally perfect, I chose mare. I have an EP stallion that is lonely and he's a tobiano so hopefully I'll get some pintaloosa's from the cross. :D

I had some fun GMTing my stud. He's my first exceptionally perfect so he's going to see quite a few of my mares this year. :D Between this guy, my sabino 2 Stars and Stripes boy, and my sabino 1 splash 2 PF boy, I think my mares should be set for breeding season.

I gave him a copy of frame, partly so he'd be like the diamond age horses but mostly because I love the way frame interacts with all the different patterns on a horse. I also gave him a second copy of pearl and took away the dun. I like grullos but I really wanted him to be a black pearl. I'm selling straws from him so if anyone is interested he'll be on my straws ad.

I just had to share. Got a Dimond age boy when I was fumbling about on HJ1 a year ago, and bred him to the new RS girl I just created over there. Sure I probably dodged a handful of bullets that could have lead to dead foals, but she is gorgeous. :)

As long as you don't breed him, you have all of this month and next month to save up for the two GMTs you would need to remove the appy (1 per gene since he's homozygous appy). Personally, I wouldn't trade him for a different RS because if this herd helper is one time only like the first diamond age one, he'll be worth more than most other rank specials. A forum auction will probably get you the most money for him if you do decide to sell. If he sells for the kind of price that people are offering for the Nanotech mares in forum auctions right now, you could use that money to buy a couple different RS horses if you wanted.
