I really like this gene but I think the only way I can get it is to auction my foundies. I would also have to sell back barnsand to me that is going backwards in this game. Such a dilemma. Maybe I am just looking for the next big bling. Unfortunately my Nexus line isn't holding my interest like I thought it would.

What would you all do?

It's really up to you. Do you like Macchiato enough that it's worth it to you to take a step backwards in your game? Can you easily recover from selling horses and barns, etc. or will it cripple your ability to play enjoyably until you're able to build it all back up? Will your Macchiato line hold your interest any better than your Nexus line?

If you have to gut your barn to get it, it probably is not a good idea. Build a stronger show herd instead. :)

I really want it and I'm tempted to buy some GMTs to get it but I just got paid so I'm sitting here debating is it really worth it or do I want to get food? Im too new and would have to completely gut all my barns to get the in game money I need.

I think I am just gonna have to wait and see if the gene will come out again. I think I have worked to hard to get where I am with my show bonus. It hurts.

If you're not that interested in your nexus line, could you sell your nexus horses to other players who have nexus lines and then use that money to get macchiato? Selling your barns and show horses is probably a bad idea. Also, you have another month to buy macchiato with GMTs so you have some time to start saving.

It is much cheaper just to buy it outright than buy it with GMTs. 20 per copy versus 50 per copy with GMT.

GMTing it costs 10 per copy. $20 otherwise.
Edit: I mean 10 GMTs, which is 200 IVs, which is 2,500,000 hb.
