disappointed in humanity sometimes
  • my husband is a farrier. He has been working for a large boarding stable for well over 5 years and the barn manager has been increasingly abusive towards boarders horses and her own horse and dogs.. boarders there had confided in him that they were afraid of barn management and afraid to say anything to property owners as they were afraid of it being taken out on their horses… he finally had compiled enough evidence from
the brutal beatings he witnessed to get humane agents involved. Prayers for justice for the animals
  • Wow that is absolutely horrible. I’m so sorry those animals, the boarders, and your husband have to go through it and witness it. I hope that barn manager gets what’s coming to her
Continuing my reign as the most annoying player on the forums and hgg’s favorite butch lesbian cowboy

    They/them
  • Oh my gosh! I hope something can be done about it. It's terrible that it had to go on for so long :(
  • :-S hope that person lives alone and isn’t also abusing a spouse or children. :(

    Hope they get justice.
  • the boarders are all afraid to say anything because they are afraid of what she will do to their horses.. it is a very nice barn , heated indoor arena, etc.. the property owners are not involved but predominant business owners and trying to cover up so they don’t get bad publicity.. praying the horse owners report what they confided in my husband about and file their report with the humane agents so she can be prosecuted… there is a vet that came forward too with evidence of injuries to the horses that are the result of lip chain , whip injuries, neck injuries etc ..
  • They need to get their horses out of there. I had to move my horse without notice more than once. It's not ideal, but it's better than something bad happening.
  • I agree with RockCandyAppys (I bought a horse from you recently, very beautiful horse, makes pretty babies), They need to get their horses out of their, then anonymously report the barn owner to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) for Cruelty and abuse to the boarders horses and their own. Please take my advice with a grain of salt, as I am a random preteen on the internet, but those horses deserve better and a good life, and so do the borders.
  • It is truly heartbreaking that their are people out there who would be this horrible, and I hope that this disgusting excuse of a humans karma will come back to them.
  • Please update us ( if you can) if they do get reported, and what happens.
