How do horses age
-
Im new to the game. How do horses on here age and how long does it take for a horse to age, lets just say 1 year. Thanks!
-
They all age up by 1 year at the beginning of every real life month.
After a horse turns 17 they have the possibility to "age out" or die with each new year as well----

I am very forgetful so if I owe you anything but am taking to long please send me a PM. I don't get on to play the game as often as I once did but I am usually most active during the 2nd and 3rd week of each month -
At the beginning of the month the game turns over and a new year begins. There is no option to age them sooner in this game.
Once the horse is 17 there is a possibility for them to age out/die at the new year, you just get a notification saying "____ has passed away", a lot of people put their older horses at risk of aging out in the auction to get $2500 for it before it goes.
It doesn't matter when the horse was bred, it will age at the new month. (it doesn't matter if you bred the foal on the first day of the new breeding season, or the very last day, at turn over it still ages a full year.)ID# 2353
