Proud moment!

After purchasing a single horse with one allele for the chocolate gene at auction several years ago, I have been slowly breeding trying to continue to get more horses with the chocolate gene that pass inspection without bringing in another line. Today is finally the day that I got a filly that is homozygous for chocolate, passed inspection, AND papered blue! Big moment for me. And she's pretty too!

Wtg! It's always a huge sense of achievement getting all of the goodies on a mare, especially when you only start with a single horse het for that gene.Producer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.
