So i created a dark chestnut or flaxed sooty chestnut mare and she turned out gold chamagne... bred her to my chestnut appaloosa stallion (also a flaxen sooty dhh) and got a liver chestnut.. my guess is the mare must be the dp carrier as my stallion hasnt thrown any livers that i remember but ill check again.. can anyone confirm this please??

Can confirm, mare is at least het DP! Stallion doesn't carry any DP or he would have been a liver as well :) Very neat little family you got going on though!

Yep, I'd say your mare has DP! DP golden champagne is one of my favorite colors in the game, even though it's really difficult to pick unless you're looking at a lot of Champagnes in a row.

Duh it didnt click the stallion should be liver if it was him.. lol.
Thankyou for confirming though :) i was going to auction the mare until this surprise filly!
