I'm pretty new and still learning about the genetics. Whats going on with this coat? I feel like its really light.

The horse has no sooty which means there is no darkening of the coat it is just a regular chesntnut

Here's another example of a non dotty light chestnut. He looks even paler due to the flaxen mane and tail.

Here are some shades I have in my herd. All depends on sooty and DP darkening genes :)

I have so many dapple/sooty chestnuts/bays that's the ones without are "non dotties" :P
Should give them their own special tattoo
