Introducing Rainbow Riot 2 Void!
Void is a new allele of the Rainbow Riot 2 gene. It turns white markings into pure black.
Not Wrong Warp!
At first glance, you might assume such an allele was just another wrong warp but there are significant functional differences between them. First, void does not cause warping. Second, void converts markings to black, while wrong warp converts white areas to black and has color tearing. They can result in strikingly different appearances.
Here is our first example horse:
The same horse with WW. Note the leaves and marking edges are still white.
The same horse with void. Note the lean marking edges and DARK leaves
Here is a loud frame sabino:

Void will also show on horses that can't show wrong warp.
With wrong warp
With void, note the dark roan:
Void also does not tear at the edges.
Note the yellow halo on this WW horse
There is no hallo and much more dark on the void version.
You can also get lots of darkening that you would never get with wrong warp.

Will not show on non markings
It is important to note that for the purposes of void, ice, gray, chinchilla, and cream do not count as markings. While they might show wrong warp they will not show void.
Splash is voided ice is not.
Gray
A young gray varnish horse showing the varnish being voided but not the gray.
This max white horse with gray on top shows the gray cutting through the voided markings.
Chinchilla white does not count as void and the markings will be picked out separately from the white areas.

Void can cause axiom to invert back to light colors.

Ammit, do you have a copy of the genome of the horse that is fully void black, with chestnut/bay spots? It's in the Imgur link and was posted on facebook. Could this potentially happen with any appy varnish, or would it need to be basic varnish? ie not halo, or snowflake. I do know it'll probably take until the horse is at the very end of its life but I am absolutely loving this expressionProducer of Volcanic Glass Drafts. Lapisobsidianus.

ObsidianKitsune depends on what you are wanting. Any appy that varnishes out completely white will have completely black varnish instead. Snowflake and halo change how a horse varnishes. I mixed a void stud in with a BUNCH of fantasy genes to see what happened. Here's a few of my favorites:
