Not Able to GMT

    I just produced my first homozygous snowflake, a little liver chestnut foal:

    He turned out a leopard appaloosa, I assume because he inherited the ECA3PPATN1 gene from both his mother and father. I'd like to GMT one of the PATN1 genes into a + to turn this fellow into a blanket appaloosa (so the snowflake is visible), but I'm unable to. I've tried with both and get the message: "Your horse has the PATN1 allele for this Appaloosa Blanket Size gene.
    No edits are available for this gene"

    But, both parents have one copy of each gene so I should be able to change it, correct? Or, am I missing something?

    Assuming that you own at least one GMT token, no I don't think you're missing anything. I think you should post this in the bug discussion.

    You might try logging out and logging back in first, especially if you've bought your GMT tokens in this session...

    I'll post this over in the bug discussion! I don't think it's an issue with the GMTs - I was able to change the foals gender from mare to stallion without any trouble.

    Not a bug. Just because the only genes you can see are + and PATN1 does not mean that is all the genes there are. Try both parents, don't just try the sire's side. ;)
