So today till the 15th is just shopping for things for your giftee (shopping can go on through till the end of the exchange though) so for now you will click o the gift exchange list and see who your giftee is and their wishlist.

From there you start shopping!

There's also an option on that page if at any point you have a question of your giftee where you can anonymously message them.

Hahahaha everyone else beat me to answer but as they said yes! If you already have horses that would suit you can gift your own! Also if your SS requests something with a closed gene that you don't have a license for but you find a horse that would fit with it you can try asking the person if they would be willing to deliver the horse for you or if there's an SS Elf around who would be willing to deliver it for you that has the appropriate license (you will need to keep track of those ones that you can't gift directly through the exchange page to account for when you do the end of exchange summary as they won't be auto tallied in the system but they do still count as gifts given! Same goes for straws or eggs)
