    So my lovely Silver Pocket Watch boy is a peppermint lol I remember I saw something about this somewhere but I can't seem to find it again. I know his page says I can wash it off for a GMT but will it stay forever if I don't wash it off? Is there a benefit or detriment to it, or just for fun? I really like it XD I am definitely changing his name to Starlight lol

    Unless you pay to refresh the image or add new genes the stripes will remain. Turning him in for the GMT won't remove them.

    It says it will remove it.
    "You can trade in any Candy Pony or Sea Pony for 1 GMTs. Turning them in will cause the candy coating to wash off, and you keep the horse after."

    You only pay to get a new seed.

    The second the image updates for any reason the stripes will go away. Yes if you never turn it in the stripes will stay.
