Is there an age limit for when a stallion or mare can be altered and receive the training bonus? If so, what is the limit? I didn't see any mention of one in the FAQ, but I feel like I've read somewhere that there might be one.

If they are still training I'd expect they'd always get that slight bonus

I think that I have read that somewhere too, but I can't find it..
I think that it may have said before they are breeding age they get the bonus, but honestly have no idea if that was an actual thing or just someone saying what they thought?

I am also interested to know the actual answer, bookmarked the question.

They get the spay/geld bonus whenever you spay/geld them. If they are still training (haven't leveled off yet) it will be a pretty good addition to their training score/PT.

Once they've leveled off, they can STILL get the training bonus. Just like any horse that has leveled off the bonus is not going to be very much but it IS a teensie bit of a bonus every time they train. So it can't HURT to spay/geld after they've leveled off, a bonus is a bonus.
