Well... Let me clarify... I have 5 Bettas at home (one is actually being gifted to my girlfriend (it's a lovely black female betta I've named Obsidian). But, I was talking to a friend of mine who raises Bettas and explained I've been hoping to find a yellow betta for years (I lost mine I had as a teenager), and haven't been able to find one. He went out of his way to find me one and is sending it to me! This lovely boy will be home in about 2 days (thanks, 2-day shipping!). I can't wait to get him! He's not exactly what I was hoping for, but he's so beautiful, I couldn't pass him up!

I love bettas! He’s stunning! I can’t wait to start getting them again! I had to rehome mine so to speak when I moved and just haven’t been able to get any new ones in over 5 yrs… I think it’s time haha! Now to find a place to ship to Oregon lmao

@PhoenixLady87, I love Bettas, too! He really is! Hey, PM me and I can give you my friends info (providing he's willing). He should be able to ship to you, and always has Bettas available!

What a cutie. I've had my blue betta Simon for a couple of years now and we're talking about getting a second tank.

@Seaswell, I have a female I've had about a year now, maybe two years (I can't keep track, lol), a male I've had around 6 months to a year, another female I've had around 3 to 4 months, and a baby male I've had about a week or two. And then I'll have this guy.

Lol. My vote is for a new tank next paycheck, but my hunny is all logical about moving multiple tanks when we go on vacation and the kids fish sit.

@Seaswell, I definitely can understand that, though! My girlfriend is considering us moving to Florida together (we live in Alabama, separately currently), and I'm just imagining us having to transport six Bettas with their tanks over 5 hours away. Plus, I have two dogs, she has one, and I have two cats, and she has one.

Lol. I'm just picturing that moving truck. Becareful, I moved cross country twice with this one cat. He liked it so much he moved into the truck when Hunny got his CDL and refused to come home.

@Seaswell, we'd probably just use my girlfriend's car for the fish and things, and we'd probably be sure to take them a trip we didn't have the other critters (just other fragile boxes and things, probably).
