Discovered another Brindle!
-
I was looking through my foals and discovered my second ever brindle foal! Of course my brindle babies never make the cut but can still be a gorgeous show horse!

He's beautiful sucks he was gelded but he should do pretty good in showing :)Wolfgang Pride ID 554

I don't think I know anyone who has a brindle that passes testing without getting boosted.
He is stunning :) love his colouring -
I got 2 brindles this season that passed all testing (I also got 2 on server 1 that papered Blue as 2G's and passed SBA) :D It's basically just the luck of the draw. But he is beautiful. If you unalter him and GM him consistent, he might pass testing. He papered higher than his sire so it could be the inconsistency bringing him down. I had a few foals this season that I had to do that with.Bluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755

I got a Brindle filly this year that pasted testing she papered Blue with a 10.9PT and she's consistent no boosting was done. Her dam was in pasture for nearly all 30+ days though. :) It's just luck sometimes they get altered and sometimes they don'tWolfgang Pride ID 554

If he had a higher pt I would be more tempted to unalter and gmt but I've spent a ton on gmts lately so should resist lol
-
If you un-alter him, and GMT his consistency, his PT will change. He is a B papered 2gen, so it would be worth the try in my opinion.
P.S. A booster or two could be a great improvement if necessary. -
I can unalter and gmt until he is 4 correct so I have time to save up
-
Yes, 4 and younger with no living offspring. :)
-
Well since he is a gelding I'm safe for now :D I'll have to try to remember later to work on him
-
You guys are a bad influence...I had to buy gmt tokens to try and get him intact and it worked!Thanked by 1SummertreeFarms

2G Ashes of Galaxies pb
I was so lucky to get this intact, superior to sire, B papered second generation colt during his sire's last season. I was so excited. :x -
@goobani I have I think three lined brindles that passed testing and didnt need to be boosted and I know of a decent amount of others who also have intact brindles without boosting. My stallion actually compared superior to my 2nd gen benchmark which has never happened lol but his mom was a experf I think. Dont get me wrong its not the easiest thing my first ever brindle took me I think 9 months? or something to breed and he was gelded and then my next brindle was born just a couple seasons ago lol. But even getting an altered brindle is still fun!
