You can filter search results to get pointed creates by selecting horses under 5 and then adding the all time points under the advanced search drop down. I use it all the time to look at all the pretty pointed creates :)

I love the "Search Horses" feature. It's so useful to figure out breeding goals or guess what adding certain GMTs may do. I appreciate @cloverbunny 's comment about the best way to search for pointed horses. I also really like @K2tarpey 's idea about a price range. You can already sort "Sale Price" and "Breeding Price," but it would be nice to add in a range there or even be able to flip between "Highest to Lowest" and "Lowest to Highest"

I've enjoyed playing on this server this month. It wasn't too long ago when I was completely new to H&J (I joined Mesa on Feb of 2021). Joining here in June definitely had it's advantages. I was able to sell rank specials for great prices and the market for pointed creates was even hotter than usual due to it also being the GE. I think the updated "Achievement Tasks," the updated selling horse message, and the increased amount for pointed creates were great additions for a new account.

Like I said in a previous post, I think it would be amazing to be able to achieve forum posts or comments. However, I saw talk of creating a wiki on another post and I think that would be a very useful addition to the game.

Something else I think could be useful for newer players to understand is the possibilities of IVs. There's a lot of things that may feel inaccessible at first (licensed genes, upgrades, GMTs, etc.), but many things in the game can be "unlocked" through IVs. Now hopefully someone who joins would still find it worth wild to spend actual $ now and again, but that can be a bit of a big ask when you're brand new. (Like I said previously, I think the $1.99 basic upgrade deal is a great way for new players to get their feet wet). Anyway, I think emphasis on IVs is important.

Another thing about starting out, figuring out goals! I know there's an important and necessary emphasis on creating a pointed show herd early on, but creating unique breeding lines are super fun! I think it's important that the game remains how it is - open for individuals to pick what they like and breed for that. But maybe there's a way to use the new HAJ Ambassadors to help spark inspiration for new players? Just a thought there.
