I thought the barn id was 13 but when I searched it no horses turned up. Am I wrong or are they just out of horses.

The owner ID is 13. They have 7 pages of horses right now :)

Each barn within a stable has a unique ID, so I find it easier to search by the owner ID (Foundation Rescue is 13) when looking for specific stables. As ObsidianKitsune mentioned, untick the spayed mare and gelding boxes if you're only seeking breeding horses so you don't buy an altered horse by mistake.

I instinctively searched by barn ID a few times when I started the game--it was not very productive! Barn ID seems most useful when you want to quickly view all images within one of your own barns.
