Circling back around to say the new achievement incentives are amazing and exactly what new players need to get started well!

I thought the 100k was the living cap, and the 60k was the holding cap?

Yes, 100k is the living cap. Check the forum post announcement about the change. It explains that it is a living cap and why we have one.. The create page doesn't need to bog down new members with that info so it is not found on the create page.

We are hoping to get a wiki installed in the next few months that members can create guides for.

That would be really great. There’s SO much that can be done in this game that a wiki would be really helpful.

Final(ish) thoughts.

I started playing this game on my mesa account in late April 2022. I loved it, but almost immediately ran out of money and had to wait to play more. I quickly made my main Forest account to keep enjoying the game, but ran into a similar issue pretty quickly. I was able to keep playing a bit longer on Forest because of some extremely generous well establish players who willingly overpaid for horses and gifted me exceptionally pointed show ponies.

The problem became they were so generous, that I hit the point cap very quickly! I wanted to engage in the game daily, but wasn’t bringing in enough to make and test even 1 create per day. It felt like I was stopped dead, because I couldn’t make more pointed creates but I couldn’t afford to buy pointed ponies.

It may have been serendipitous, but shortly after I posted about the struggle to get going on my accounts, Ammit began making new member changes. I joined the FB group and on a post calling for suggestions asked if the pointed creates could taper off instead of ending abruptly. Ammit said she liked the idea.

I’m so glad it was implemented! Game play not just on my new user account, but my primary accounts got instantly better. I haven’t hit the overall cap yet, but I feel comfortable with my daily showing bonus at this point that when my creates are no longer pointed, I know I’ll be okay.

THANK YOU Ammit for hearing my suggestion and being open to trying it. It has made all the difference in the world, and has made a long term prayer out of me!

Commenting from my main account because I’m too lazy to sign out right now.

I assume it would be cost prohibitive, but I wish there was a way to use your credit card directly or through something like square instead of PayPal. I have had wayyy too many family/friends that got their identity stolen through PayPal that I don’t use it.

I may be the only person to feel this way, but I thought I’d mention it in case it’s an issue for others as well!

Now that I’ve been playing longer and have more horses, I’ve noticed that sorting/finding the horses I want can be tricky even when using more than one barn to try to organize. I might be missing something (if so, please tell me so I can use these features!) but I find myself wanting:

1) the ability to search my horses specifically for ones that have no living offspring. This would be helpful in focusing my breeding program, because, for example, if I could search for all 7 year old mares that don’t have any living offspring, I would know that I’ve bred a mare for 3-4 seasons and have not liked/kept any of her foals, and would likely sell her.

2) the ability to sort within the barn page by the listed category. Kind of like an Xcel spreadsheet, so I could click on “PT” and have it either ascending or descending in level, without having to go to the search where they have pictures. I’d like to see them directly lined up in the chart format so the direct comparison is easier.

Just some more thoughts I thought I’d add as I go along!
