yeah like me,you are proof that a little knowledge helps a lot in this game. before I understood the worth of rank specials, I sold dozens of them for 4500 on bluegrass and no one complained.

Yeah, possibly even just a pop-up when you login to check your achievements could be helpful!

Also I don't know if this would help anyone else, but maybe also a "remove from auction" button on the horses control panel. You can enter a horse into auction from this page, but not remove them. Because I am very indecisive about what I want to keep and what I want to biff

SO I got a head injury on the 17th and am still recovering so despite having had a lot of time recently to hop onto the game, I have not. Might also be why I was so game for a dark mode earlier up, and for any potential sentences that were difficult to understand. I'm not entirely sure about my income via selling atm as I haven't been writing things down. A "transaction list for this month" button, even if it is a pdf that you download, would be a neat thing but 100% not necessary or relevant for newbies at all xD

With the end of the breeding season, I'm going to look to closing down this account very shortly. I'm going to give away basically all of my barn and money, I know I can't handle 2 accounts.

I have ended this account with a basic upgrade, one 120 stall barn, and 213,965 hbs. Originally this took me months to do. I have completed all achievements apart from the 40k, 60k, and 80k points held. I have been auctions horses mostly as a way to raise money. Points wise, the create page says:

In total you have 36,252 held points in your account. This earns you 3,884 hbs every day.
All foundation horses you created, including those you have sold have 44,208 cummulative points. They earn 4,737 every day.

So I feel like auctioning off your lower pointed creates is still a very valid way to build a show herd with pointed creates. I have been auctioning off altered horses that have about 400 or less. I started only auctioning off intact horses that had less than 300 points, but I think I raised that up to 400. I bred them first of course (via the stallion in-house page, which was surprisingly quick!), and auctioned off the foals who did not pt at 9.5 or above, going on the assumption that space would be very limited (as it was when I first started). Even though I could probably buy another huge barn...

Last auction I entered 17 horses, only 1 was bought by a player.
The auction before I entered 16 horses, and only 3 was bought by a player.

Some of these were foals, as I did breed my horses, but even other auctions (whose transactions I have lost because I did not keep on top of this oops) about 1/2 to 2/3 of horses at least went back to the game, and those would've been 99% foundations. I have 20 horses owned by other people in total, and I think only 8 I have sold on the public sale.

Total made from public sales (not including sold at create price or lower):
3x 250k
1x 25k
2x 10k
= 795k.

The cost of the 120 stall barn and the basic upgrade was mostly funded by this, breaking it down. Both come to 875k, so 80k was raised by other means.

Between auctioning horses, my daily show bonus, achievements, and weekly pay, I've made roughly about 293,965 profit (80k + current money). I've barely put much time into this account and that is an insane amount. I feel that the achievements did a huge boon, unsure how much in total it gave (as I did do some before the changes came through). 37.5k came from the basic upgrade (3 weeks at 12.5k) which isn't as much as it feels.

All in all my plan to auction off horses only to see how easy it is to function as a new person with minimum interaction with people kind of went askew. With only that though I earned just under 300k, 75k away from earning a basic upgrade. So a very antisocial person, or one who isn't used to trying to navigate a game that looks like this to find the forum and chat rooms or learn how to use the horse search, should be able to get a basic upgrade within 2 months. With the addition of the pop-up that comes with selling a horse on the public sales as well as the increase in hbs on the achievements, said person should be able to achieve this in a month. The only suggest I have to make the selling of horses easier for someone who doesn't explore and click every single button that they can would be adding a blub when they put a horse on the public sale to advertise it in the forum, with said link to the forum. Potentially also chatrooms, but that might be a bit too fiddly for some people to do since you need to find an acceptable room and then wait to be accepted in (in some cases).

I do not think I have any last final thoughts, apart from the fact that this game and its community is amazing~ This is probably the nicest place on the internet.
