Forgive my n00bishness, but I have to know;

I have this majestic stallion, whom I used as a herdsire for all of my pasture breeding this season;

Do Not Starve Together PF

and I noticed that out of all of his foals, only one (out of a dappled mare) had dapples himself.

I'm aware that (IRL) dapples are mysterious and fickle, and I want to know - if I accidentally re-roll, will the dapples disappear or not?

"Accidentally" re-roll? :P The dapples might disappear, but then again, they might show up even more. If they do go away, keep re-rolling til they come back, or you go broke, whichever comes first! :D

I was thinking of re-rolling my entire barn, but then remembered I had some pretty spots I didn't want to lose :P

also pfft, it wouldn't take much to drive me broke :P Upgrading has taught me a lot about my lines, but at what cost???? (hajibucks :P)

If you love dapples, the sooty+ gene will help with giving a dappled coat effect!

yes re- role it works out nicely you might have to do it a few times but its worth it I re- rolled until I got dapples few times and it does work very hansom stud you have there Sunlit :)

I agree with Cheers, look into S+! Those horses have regular sty, but I find s+ more...dramatic, I suppose.

I looove liver with S+!! This is one of my show geldings, he's a liver with one copy of S+.

Just as a side note, S+ only shows on dark coloured horses - these horses are homz for S+ and no dapples show.

(also yes I realise now he's not actually a liver chestnut! Apparently I've spent too much time with dogs!)
