I am so excited for this trip :D I live in Michigan in the US and although I have been to MANY of the other US states, I have never left the country. But, my best friend is going to Scotland with her mom as her graduation present (was supposed to happen 2 years ago but Covid happened) and she wants me to go with them! I am beyond excited! I fly to DC early on the 16th and meet up with my friend and then we will go pick up her mom before heading back to the airport later that same evening to fly out to London :D I am so excited and anxious. I also don't exactly travel well so I am really hoping I don't feel too funky on this trip :)) I won't throw up or anything but i will feel it in my head.

My anxiety has also been spiraling out of control recently, mostly related to jobs/working, and this will be such a nice getaway. I really wish i could find a work-from-home job :(( It would make my life so much easier in the mental health department. But I quit one of my jobs that has been a stressor for the last 2.5 years and it feels good. I can't wait for this trip so I can just be away from everything for a whole week. I also miss my best friend like CRAZY. She lives in Virginia so I don't get to see her often.
