So, I'm trying to GMT the second KP onto this stud

I've tried selecting both KP alleles to edit and it gives me the message that there are no edits for this gene. Both of his parents have KP so I'm not sure why it won't let me change one of them. Am I missing something here?

Did you try to enter him into the KBreeder's club before the others? Maybe he just needs a reroll. :P

Or actually, it looks like his dad only has one copy.

I might be mistaken but I think that KP is one of the few genes that cannot be GMT'd onto a lined horse

Wasn't it announced that both Kp and DP could now be gmt'd on lined horses? I know DP can be, has anyone managed to gmt KP?

I did try to enter him into the KP Breeders club. No good there. Even if Dad only has one copy of KP I should be able to change it. As both Mom and Dad have at least one copy.

I am wondering if that is the case that KP can't be GMTed onto a lined horse. Which would be a bummer.

Well I found an old post where Ammit said KP could be done for lined horses. So now I am confused as to why I can't in this scenario. The only explanation I can think of is that he is homozygous KP but he doesn't register in the homozygous club so... I'm stumped.

Yea that's confusing I'd ask Ammit about it. Maybe his sire is not KP

I'm thinking Kp can't be GMT'd for lined horses, but it might be a bug as I remember too when Ammit announced they could. In a tweet too I think?

I'm having the same issue, but with W10. I thought it could be added to lined horses too. But I could easily be wrong!

They can only be in 4 Breeders clubs at one time. Maybe check that?

I removed him from all breeders clubs and then tried to enter him in the KP club. No luck there.

Then he is not hom kp. His mom was hom you would have to change only the sires gene donation. Only hom kp can get in the Breeders club.

Ammit fixed the problem. Both KP and W10 had issues.
